About:
Blake Appleby was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Growing up a preacher’s kid was fine until he realized that proximity and knowledge couldn’t save him. Augustine once said, “Why do you rely on yourself, only to find yourself unreliable.” As a teenager, Blake realized that he couldn’t rely on himself for anything and was saved by grace through faith in Christ alone.

Blake currently serves in Central Florida as a Student Pastor. He is passionate about evangelism, equipping believers to live on mission, and discipleship. He is a communicator that is known for simplicity and substance. He believes that the Bible isn’t necessarily hard to understand; it’s just hard to swallow. He deeply desires to see students and adults treasure the Word of God.

He loves his wife, Meredith and their son, Micah. He cheers unapologetically for the Atlanta Braves and the Florida Gators. He looks forward to partnering with you for your next DiscipleNow, conference, camp, etc.
